This year’s fundraiser received an unprecedented amount of support. From selling out nearly a week before the event to raising a record $75,000, our 7th Annual Playing Together for a Brighter Beginning event exceeded expectations and we couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone who attended, the generosity of our sponsors, and the tireless dedication of our volunteers.

The evening featured our amazing auction-tainer Abra and moving addresses from our Executive Director Dr. Barbara Bunn McCullough and our client speaker Connandra Robinson. We heard about how Brighter Beginnings has changed over the course of the past 30 years and the ways in which our commitment and resolve to strengthening families and communities in the East Bay has stayed very much the same.

Photos from the event are available on our Facebook page.
