Showers for a Bright Start

Participating in Showers for a Bright Start helps Brighter Beginnings in several ways:

• Provides critically needed items for young mothers with very limited resources.
• Grows the awareness of Brighter Beginnings and its mission.
• Educates others on issues faced by Brighter Beginnings families every day.
• Lets your own circle of friends learn about Brighter Beginnings.

Showers may be held in a home, at a church by a club or organization – just as one might hold a shower for a mother-to-be who is not a Brighter Beginnings client.

Items from the shower are placed in the Brighter Beginnings Baby Bank and are given to mothers as they need the items.  It is wonderful to provide a new mother with a few new items for her brand new baby!
