Women of Color 2004 Film Festival Awards
Reflections Unseen, a documentary film featuring testimonials of wisdom, courage and faith of eight African American women living with HIV was honored as the Best Short Documentary at the Through Her Eyes: Women of Color 2004 Film Festival Awards, held in June and July, 2004, in New York City.

Directed and produced by Aarin Burch, of the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, the film is a collaboration with The Perinatal Council, telling the story of some of the first African-American women who participated in The Perinatal Council's Healthy Tomorrows Peer Educator Training Program. The program uses an innovative, art-based curriculum and seeks to reduce HIV infection among African American pregnant women or mothers.
