I always tell everyone that she was my angel, because she literally came to my school, and told me what I needed to know: The world was not over, and neither was my life; I was simply about to take responsibility for another life.”

Awards and Accomplishments
Strengthening Families means helping people in our community enact real and lasting changes in their lives. We are extremely proud of some of our recent successes:
- 80% of the teen parents we serve graduate from high school (more than double the national average), significantly increasing their earning potential
- Only 4% of the teen moms we serve have repeat births, compared to 30% nationally
- 99% of the teens and children we serve are successfully connected to health care resources
