Quality parent interaction helps to ensure that children grow up healthy, learning, and ready to reach their greatest potential.

Children thrive when they feel secure and their needs are met, and these early, positive experiences affect the way their brains work and grow.

Brighter Beginnings Antioch First 5 Center

Brighter Beginnings’ Antioch First 5 Center offers fun, educational classes and activities for families with children ages 0-5.   Our Center provides age-appropriate programs that focus on children during their first five years and promote healthy family relationships, early learning opportunities, and parent education and support.

Parents and Children Learning Together

Parents learn about parenting, child development, promoting early literacy, and health topics such as the effects of tobacco use on babies. Parents and kids take classes together, such as learning the alphabet through music and dance, cooking and doing crafts together.

Unique Programs and Resources

Programs include family story times, art, music, dance and sports classes, health and nutrition, school readiness, tobacco education, child development classes, support groups, monthly family nights, and special community fairs or holiday gatherings. Parents can also check out books, receive referrals to the services they need, get a parenting kit, and meet other parents.
