Collaborations

Building Blocks Collaborative is a health equity initiative of Alameda County Public Health Department, using the Life Course Perspective as its theoretical framework. BBC unites a diverse group of multi-sector organizations that have committed to change the way they work to create equitable community conditions that support well-being starting from the earliest stages of life.

Building Block for Kids supports the development of healthy children and the self-sufficiency of all families living in the Iron Triangle area of Richmond California by engaging the community, block by block.

The Children’s Movement of California is connecting the many diverse organizations and individuals that are pro-kid in support of it’s efforts to prioritize children’s health and education in public policy making.

Health Wealth Connection Collaborative is a cross-sector coalition of economic justice and public health organizations in the Bay Area, primarily Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

RotaCare Bay Area is a volunteer alliance of medical professionals, organizations and community members dedicated to providing free primary, quality healthcare services to uninsured families and individuals with limited ability to pay for medical care. They are entirely volunteer driven and supported solely through locally based philanthropy. The newest RotaCare clinic will be opening in the fall of 2012 in our Richmond Family Strengthening Center

SparkPoint Centers are financial education centers that help individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet. SparkPoint helps our clients address immediate financial crises, get them back on their feet, and build financially secure futures. The West Contra Costa County SparkPoint Center is housed in our Richmond Family Strengthening Center.

LIFT provides free wellness education programs throughout communities in California. Their initiatives include fun nutrition and physical education activities aimed at improving health and preventing chronic diseases.
