Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday 2021 – November 30

On November 30, 2021, we’ll unite for a worldwide celebration of generosity. GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to come together through generosity in all its forms by sharing acts of kindness and giving their voice, time, money, goods, and advocacy to support communities and causes. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 9 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.

At Brighter Beginnings, we know that people can show their generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s driving a neighbor to an appointment, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts. We have many ways that people can show their generosity within the Brighter Beginnings family.

Through programs like our annual Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program, where low-income families are matched with a donor who purchases gift cards to provide seasonal gifts and necessities for the family (going on right now), volunteering & internships, and/or donations of household items, monetary, gift of stock, or will/estate planning, there are a variety of ways that you can participate based on your time, budget, and desire to make a difference in your community.

We hope you will celebrate with us on November 30th and no matter how you decide to show your generosity, we hope you choose to share it with the Brighter Beginnings family. Contact us for more information.
